Through a sequence of events, he knocked down all the idols with a hatchet except the largest one and put the hatchet in its hand and blamed the whole knock down on it. When Abraham, who had spent his early years with Noah and Shem learning about God, was very angry with his father when he discovered what his father was doing. Our father Abraham’s father, Terah, who was an officer of Nimrod, had twelve statues of these “gods” set around a room in his home where he went to worship them on a daily basis. His father Cush helped set up the whole Pantheon beginning with twelve gods representing the constellations of the astrological Zodiac for the people to worship. His grandfather Ham, the father of Egypt, Canaan, Libya and Ethiopia, was set up to be worshiped as the Sun. Can you imagine the stupidity! His intention was to climb up, kill God and then take His seat! This being a transgression and a rebellion against God, the builders were caused to become confused and have been ever since! Nimrod deified himself and his family and caused mankind to worship them. He sought to seat himself in heaven to displace God, who created heaven and earth, by building the famed Tower of Babel and deceived the whole world in his time. Going back to the time of Noah after the Flood, Ham’s grandson, Nimrod, set up his kingdom of Babylon and reigned over the whole earth in a type of “united kingdom” or “one world” government. There is a warning to be given from the Book of Revelation in the end times: “If any man worship the ‘Beast’ and his image and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixer in the cup of His indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone… and they have no rest day nor night who worship the ‘Beast’ and his image and whosoever receives the mark of his name.” (14:9-11) Nimrod – The Father of Lies So let’s see how well connected these “religions” really are to Abraham! Abraham counting the stars. Jesus said, If you are the children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham. All “Abrahamic religions” claim a direct lineage to the Biblical Patriarch, Abraham.
